As
a child, I remember watching a print develop in my dad’s “darkroom”(our
garage), the blank white paper submerged in liquid, and then slowly an image
appeared, faded, but quickly the lines grew darker. Magic! Recognizing genuine
enthusiasm my parents gave me my first camera, I was seven. One of my early
shots—a spider web, glistening with dew from the morning sun—was
definitely the result of my mom’s influence. As an artist, she taught
me to see beauty in ordinary things. I live in the South Bay with my family, not too far from where I grew up in Manhattan Beach. I pursued my photography through higher education and earned a degree in Photography and Marketing. My passion is taking pictures of people that capture the true essence of important moments and feelings that shape their lives. My creative process involves taking portraits on location, which is referred to as “environmental portraits”. A background environment depends on the client; it could be at a beach, park, garden, church, hotel, or private home. I continue to broaden my artistic talent and deepen my photography skills through my affiliation with the Professional Photographers of Los Angeles County (PPLAC), and participation in photography seminars and national conferences. For over a decade I have worked with children, families, individuals and couples in love delivering photos that capture joy, commitment, happiness, hope, fun, wonder, and most importantly, love. My committment to you is to do every thing possible to make your life's moments into special memories that will last a lifetime. Every client is treated with the upmost importance. Upon completion of your photo shoot, whether it be a wedding, birthday or family christmas card shot, you will be able to view all of your photo's online through the "members" section of this website. Clients are able to view, enlarge and purchase their pictures online. Of course I am always happy to offer any help and suggestions along the way. I sincerely look forward to meeting with you! |
